Hawking on religion
J e n'ai jamais lu les livres Stephen Hawking, simply because I'm not so curious that the cosmos and its origin. By cons, a question I find fascinating question that will probably never meet (but I hope I'm wrong) why is there something instead of nothing?
When Diane Sawyer of ABC Hawking asked what was the mystery that would resolve, he has just answered that.
But that's not why I blog on interview he recently gave. But rather because Sawyer asked this question Hawking; " is there a way to reconcile science and religion? "
He said: "There a fundamental difference between science and religion, the latter is based on authority, while science is based on observation and reason, science will win because it works "
I'm not keen on the idea of expressing the debate between science and religion in terms of who will win or who will lose however, this sentence contains an important truth; " religion is based on the authority .
It's so important to say and repeat. Religion and Spirituality comes from individuals who claim to have experienced an inner change that has led to a worldview, a vision they share with all who wish to hear. As those listening did not realize this change themselves inside, they can not call into question what the master, and this is an argument from authority ...
leader is always right.
