Dancing Bearrapidsahre
D ans leurs préfaces au Livre des sagesses ; l'aventure spirituelle de l'humanité (Bayard 2005), Frédéric Lenoir-Ysé Tardan Masquelier say that the history of mankind bears the trace of a man perennial and women belonging to different cultural backgrounds, who claim to have made a radical experience of the absolute. Whatever the name given to this absolute, it is perceived as personal or impersonal, all show a unique experience that gave meaning to their lives.
In Buddhist tradition, Zen, Hindu, Sufi, and some Western spiritual traditions, spiritual awakening is the pinnacle of human achievement. In the spiritual worldview, there is nothing more important for humans to understand the awakening to his true nature''''is the reason he is on earth. Sages often compare this awakening in morning awakening, consciousness emerges as when sleep after a night of bad dreams.
Spiritual awakening or enlightenment is perceived differently depending on what spiritual tradition or what current new age we have. Some of these currents are awakening as something grand, like Bodhi higher in Mahayana Buddhism, for example. ''This is made of multiple knowledge is a true omniscience, which mingle magic powers and a multitude of wonderful features. The bodhisattva is a being so endowed qualities most extraordinary .''* Have also found that vision with the followers of Siddha yoga and bhakti yoga in India.
But in recent decades, especially in the West,''ordinary''awake multiply, their promises are more timid, they project a more simple and are a little more realistic. Realistic is perhaps a strong word, but at least we no longer speak of magic power. For
Adyashanti enlightenment is simply not see through the ego. It does not see life or anything: self, others, your dog, your cat, your livelihood ... It does not see the world through the eyes of this distortion is called: state of consciousness of the ego .... That's why it was compared to its natural state, natural meaning that it is not distorted by a lens ... is a perception without lens, without distortion, in the end is what enlightenment: a perception without distortion. Living In
released Eckhart Tolle suggests that there is a dimension free of problems, suffering and conflict.
Bernard (Two Oceans, 2003), said that be free is free from person permanently and say that watching the film of the life of this individual he believed to be like it was a dream, nothing more.
Eric Baret him, suggests that arousal is humility is to stop pretending to be this or that, stop pretending to be an author, stop pretending to direct his life, realizing that the aware of the things is there and give without wanting to direct current.
When asked Daniel Odier to speak of the great masters, he replied: Simple, light, relaxed, unpretentious, not technical, do not take anything for special, authentic. They reproduce knowledge to all people whom it was stolen by the power hungry.
Once awake, what happens?
Francis Lucille says: Following this awakening, we are free from fear and desire, free from fear, because, having returned to our immortal self, the specter of death is leaving us forever, and free because of the desire, knowing the absolute fullness of being, the attraction exercised on us obsolete objects ceases spontaneously.
Nisargadatta, the sage of Mumbai, said ; For me, the desires are merely among other things, mere clouds in the sky of the mind, and I do not feel compelled to act on them.
Jean Klein himself, said that the first thing you notice is how much richer and deeper are your perceptions. Communication becomes even more varied. In general, we are set in patterns of communication, but when we live in the open, high sensitivity arose, a sensibility that we never dreamed of.
Betty, a Quebecer says awake; I saw without emotion, desire and fear left me permanently, nothing is discussed, decided in advance, I live every moment fully. The mechanism that made me ask questions no longer exists, Life Is every moment, everything is perfect, everything is intelligent, I have the momentum of "what to do" all the time. Whether it's for my job, my relationships, my friends, my cat, get bread to eat, sleep, take care of my body, everything is complete without a stop and everything is seen in a complete and perfect. The little person who was convinced that everything had to analyze, compare, control no longer exists.
Jack Kornfield reported the words of a master with whom he studied: I am not this body, so I am never born and I shall never die. I am nothing and I am everything.
Finally, Swami Prajnanpad adds that the sage sees this as this is .
Nobody can deny that it looks good awakening.
I'll stop here and wait for the reviews, comments if there a. I want to make sure to leave with a definition that satisfies the majority. You notice I used the definition that we offer those who say they have experienced this awakening ... matter of making the exercise a bit more credible, especially about not distort the concept of arousal.

Reset Blackberry No Trackball
The purpose of the trip was learning to build a wood oven anagama half and half noborigama. But AC is found to be much more. I met several local potters and experience of overseas visits were made several potters in the region or it was very well acueuilli. We saw their workplace, their ovens, especially noborigama, and pottery. We also attended a great demonstration by Tsuruta Yoshihisa, Petty Officer Mike.
Once the site of the furnace, we found ourselves on a real construction site. Across the gravel, dirt, piles of excavated clay, wood, stacked bags of mortar, bricks and size of several tools of all kinds.
Craig Edwards was responsible for overall development of the construction of the oven. Mike Martino is the potter who organized the workshop. He lived in Japan for several years.
The morning was expected agendas. Shoveling the gravel a bit, digging deeper requested, preparation of mortar, brick display the range of the hand, measuring and cutting bricks, etc.. Everyone found a job and gave background on behalf of the advancement of the oven. This proved to be an accumulation of steps to solve constantly. Immediately a step taken, another aparaîssait.
I found the staff very patient and perseverance against the constant adjustments we all make to the daily. Result: a very nice oven makes a good team. everyone is happy.
And what about our beautiful late afternoon, despite the fatigue and hand cramps and back in, it always ended by a good dinner under the stars in Japan. What stories potters sipping delicious Sake end served in the beautiful pottery Karatsu colleagues.
For me, the most important in this whole experience is the contacts and exchanges between people. My path has never crossed the path of most people I met during my trip. Ironically, I went to Japan to get in touch with Daniel Gingras, one of my favorite potter Quebecers long. A meeting valuable.

J e do not need to present Carlos Castaneda, his stories''psycho-shamanic''have sold millions of copies once and it is no exaggeration to consider him as a pioneer movement of spiritual / new age modern.
Those who are well informed know very well that his books are fiction (there never was a Don Juan), it is not authentic shamanic teachings and life of'' Witches''(women Carlos) ended tragically by suicide.
But Carlos is not an idiot, his books still reflect a spiritual mythology Universal in which millions of readers have found inspiration. It is for this reason have often heard:'' have them mad if it's fiction, his teachings have opened my mind''. Maybe they have opened people's minds (what does that really mean ?.... could debate a long time), but Castaneda does not seem to have benefited from his own teachings .... just read those who rub to understand that it was not a wise, but especially manifested''qualities''of a totalitarian and manipulative guru.
The inauthenticity of Castaneda is extremely well documented through the books of Richard De Mille , fikes Jay Courtney, Margaret Runyan Castaneda (his ex-wife) and Amy Wallace , one of many women who formed his''harem.''
For those not wishing to invest in extensive research, here is a BBC documentary that sums up the controversy: Tales from the Jungle: Carlos Castaneda and The Shaman.

Chelasea Charmes And Maxi Mound
S f you live near Montreal, that you are interested in new age and spirituality and you're a rat library, you probably know bookstores The Pentagram (on St-Hubert) and Snowball (on St-Denis).
The pentagram is already closed for several months and Snowball for a month or two. Frontenac Street tells the story of Snowball and collects about the owner, Pierre Grenier. Although it was known to be more or less sympathetic, personally, my visits to the library and my contacts with him were always pleasant. I liked him because he was one of the few if not only, to offer its customers the texts published by the Institute Indian Civilization which published translations of Lilian Silburn and Abhinavagupta.
At first glance, this seems strange because it is undeniable that the beliefs derived from the new age and spirituality are more popular than ever. I think for example the popularity of December 21, 2012, issue If that were true to Canal Life or the TV series American Medium and so on ... it would have been unthinkable have this type of program twenty years ago. I already addressed this issue in a post titled Warning ... the new age would come or I stressed inter alia the popularity of Eckhart Tolle and attention that talkshows U.S. give Deepak Chopra, John Edward and Sylvia Brown of this world.
So if spiritual books are more popular, why do The Pentagram and Snowball close their doors? There is surely no single explanation, but two of them come to mind.
A, the availability of these books in major bookstores. Unlike the owner of Snowball , I do believe that prices have a big role to play, the books are not generally less at Renaud-Bray. For cons, I remember the early 90s or space allocated to the new age and spirituality in a big box bookstore was about a hundred titles. Go visit one of these libraries today, the new age and spirituality occupy entire blocks and have their own pyramids of books in the middle of the store. Customers abandon the bookstores because they are now they read everywhere ( Jean Coutu, Walmart, Loblaws ).
Two, some big publisher like Lu I have to start massive release of spirituality and new age, even the classic mystics like Autobiography of a Yogi Yogananda of or Initiation of Elizabeth Haich . This affects the small bookstores that recess could boast, and rightfully so, to offer customers much more than best-sellers, and since a very small percentage of the public seeking highly specialized titles ( Steiner, Blavatsky, the Corpus Hermeticum or the Guide for the Perplexed ) they can help the new age bookstore that hard.
People no longer have the chance to be in contact with these books, demand reduction and since the large surface area bookstores still offer a good choice, it affects the bookstores who lose their usefulness quietly. This often happens when a sub-culture merges with popular culture, and this is precisely what is happening with the New Age and Eastern spirituality.

Avery Print Table Tents
C 'était la deuxième fois que I set foot in India. My traveling companion suggested I go see, most of Sai Baba, a woman from southern India considered avatarini (incarnation of God in the feminine) name Amritananda Mata Mayi.
Amma or Ammachi as it is commonly called, gives darshan special way. The word darshan blessing translates the vision of the shape. That is to say that the presence of the guru is a blessing. In most of the gurus, the darshan is given simply by their presence, they sit and converse before the faithful (or not) with them. Sai Baba himself walking in the middle of his followers, Amma then it takes people into his arms to give them a long hug - yes, yes, a hug.
During this visit, the arshram (place of residence of the spiritual teacher) was almost empty. It was about 10am when we entered the hall where she sat surrounded by a thirty devotees. The atmosphere that reigned pleased me immediately. I lived at that time an experience that I had already lived in the presence of Sai Baba, that is to say a very distinctive physical warmth inside my body, accompanied by great emotion followed by a state of relaxation. The kind of experience that makes you say that you are on track, at least, that's how I interpreted this experience to this point in my life.
We got online to receive the hug. A few minutes later, I find myself in front of Amma, and she asks me:
- how long you stay?
-
few hours - you sitting here next to Amma (like most wise / gurus, Amma speaks in third person)
So we sat a few feet of her during 7am - until the end of darshan, around 17h. This meeting had on me and my traveling companion, a profound impact. It is always difficult to describe these experiences to people who have not had the opportunity to be in the presence of someone they believe to be divine, because it is a unique experience.
Following this visit, I am quietly led to a spiritual discipline as a medium with the presence, life and teachings of Amma. Sai Baba had taken a secondary role in my life.
I tried, as suggested by most of the spiritual masters, to achieve a balance between reading, spiritual practices and practice in life daily. I adopted as bedside books, 9 volumes Awaken Children and two volumes of Eternal Wisdom (Q & A with Amma), I went to Amma's bhajans in my town, practicing the recitation of the Sahasranama (1000 names of the divine mother) and tried to implement the teaching of Amma in everyday life, to really practice.
Between 1995 and 2001, I moved to Boston, Michigan and India to go find her. Amma, as many''liberated''is extremely engaging and I was not alone in thinking so. Amma is followed by millions of people around the world, she founded charities that have won awards of distinctions - the most famous is undoubtedly the Gandhi-King award, presented by Jane Goodall at the UN headquarters in 2002 .
Small CNN report here.
So how could I go from devout to atheist materialist Amma in ten years? J'embêterais drive if I tried to explain the long process that led me, (I bother you with that another time) but I can say that after a change of perspective, certain situations around Amma became unjustifiable, even for a devotee like me satisfied.
Before addressing the subject, I must take the time to say I do not see Amma as a malicious guru Sathya Sai Baba like or Swami Muktananda example. I will not criticize it on the lucrative business that maintains his ashram and the many donations received since they use a portion of that money to help. It is of course easier to give other people's money, but at least they do. Many anomalies have been identified in these charities, but I will not address this issue today.
When people talk about Amma, they will mention the comfort it provides (through its presence and teaching) and the example she gives (through life). To agree with this we must of course believe in altruism total, unconditional love, we must believe that a person can be without personal interest and also consider the comfort that brings true guru , solid and not just a temporary comfort. I can not ignore the fact that the word comfort could be substituted by dependence, as the point of view.
must understand that Amma is not perceived as an ordinary human. For going out with the devotees of Amma for several years, I can attest to the incredible powers that he be given, such as omniscience and omnipresence. It is not uncommon to hear devotees say that if such a thing happened, it is by the grace of Amma, Amma who is wanted as well. Could have believed that the disciples who have invented or fantasy these skills and Amma has nothing to do with it, but it would be wrong.
Amma herself maintains this idea by repeating''Amma is always with you.'' Between them, the disciples openly affirm that belief, but in public they prefer to say that when she says this, she speaks of the divine mother and not herself. It would be impossible to compile the countless times that Amma said. The blog Cult of the hugging saint has listed a few.
Side totalitarian guru-disciple relationship also became problematic for me
In the presence of the guru, the disciple should be like a servant before his master. The servant has no opinions, that obedience to everything the teacher said - no opinion '
Amma (Awaken , Children, Vol. 1)
All your concepts and judgments belong to your mind and have nothing to do with the perfect owner who is beyond the mind.
Amma (Awaken Children, Vol. 7)
These quotes are major cases of spiritual totalitarianism.
In totalitarian gurus, there is a double discourse, the discourse that says I'm just a vehicle - my happiness to see you happy - I'm just a village / village I do not know - you too you are divine, etc. .... and speeches saying "God is a true Mahatma him / herself''. Amma ( Awaken Children, Vol. 7).
few years after me being away from Amma, I discovered the Yahoo discussion group for ex-disciples Amma , while the reasons I had to get away from Amma revolved around his teaching and his cult of personality, I was unpleasantly surprised by the testimonies that were on this forum. For example, the idea that Amma broke indirectly families had never brushed mind.
Years have passed and how I see Amma has changed. As Ramakrishna and Ma Ananda Mayi, his religious experience is overwhelming and without doubt one of the most powerful that India is seen. The songs and melodies she has made are of great quality. But there are things she does not see things or leave it make that call into question the powers of her attributes: electronic counters mantras, Amma dolls, attempted criminal prosecution against an author of a book critical of him, and acts of violence perpetrated in one of his Ashrams are some examples. Amma seems blind to what is happening around her at many levels.
For people who are not on the spiritual path, what I say here has nothing too outrageous, especially since I am taking the time to say that Amma has done more in his life that most of us will do, it has real talent and is extremely warm and attractive. But people who see it as a holy I fall over just to have said she has some human traits. Amma is like his organization portrays it, that's it, if you say otherwise, then you're blind to the sanctity of Amma or simply wicked to say the''evil''of such a person .
An Indian once told me it was a sacrilege to speak of the faults of a person who gives to the poor, but do good deeds a person is really a reason to keep silent on its darker aspects? Should we immunize Amma any questions as it has great qualities?

I have less visitors than on his blog, therefore, less comments, but if I continue to blog and eventually I find myself before a lot of feedback drives, is what I'll react like Mr. Ballairgeon?. .. Sincerely, I do not know.
Have recently told me that this blog merely add to the confusion and suffering of the world that like dirty what is beautiful that I spread calumnies, that I talking about what I do not know that I take full head, or that I am hypocritical and bigoted .
For now, these comments go well, but perhaps with time it will become heavy. How does one live with that? Some bloggers do not let the opportunity to leave comments, I could do that, but I do not want to block views. There of course can not answer what I do sometimes, especially when the spiritual are not nice.
I must remain aware that these comments are from people who are engaged on the spiritual path, and considering the beliefs and certainties that this channel provides, I should not surprise me to force responses to criticism, I think, among others, the comments that followed the article Olivier Manitara''representative of the people Essene ''.
When I receive these comments, I try to remember how I reacted to this kind of criticism and what emotions it aroused in me at the time. Sometimes it helps to calibrate my responses and avoid and respond with the same harshness as do people who are offended by my opinions. Moreover, this is not the first time I see spiritual people flipping out, I know it's patronizing to say this, but my experience taught me that people are spiritual air of wisdom, but if you replace their beliefs in question, another person appears, and spirituality is revealed for what it often is, the cult of the ego and vanity in disguise.
I'll let people comment, and continue to respond to those who are able to remain calm despite the anger that eats away.

Which Part(s) Of The Body Are Affected By Malaria
J e have just order it, so I'm not going to comment, but it is a topic that arouses my curiosity for some years. The findings of Zuckerman's book is this: the Scandinavian countries among its peoples and religious beliefs are virtually absent, yet they enjoy a quality of life
exceptional ... less crime, more social equality and a strong economy.
- Before He Began His recent travels, it seemed to Phil Zuckerman as if humans all over the globe were "getting religion"-praising deities, performing holy rites, and soberly defending the world from sin. But most residents of Denmark and Sweden, he found, don't worship any god at all, don't pray, and don't give much credence to religious dogma of any kind. Instead of being bastions of sin and corruption, however, as the Christian Right has suggested a godless society would be, these countries are filled with residents who score at the very top of the happiness index and enjoy their healthy societies, which boast some of the lowest rates of violent crime in the world (along with some of the lowest levels of corruption), excellent educational systems, strong economies, well-supported arts, free health care, egalitarian social policies, outstanding bike paths, and great beer.
Zuckerman formally interviewed nearly 150 Danes and Swedes of all ages and educational backgrounds over the course of fourteen months. He was particularly interested in the worldviews of people who live their lives without religious orientation. How do they think about and cope with death? Are they worried about an afterlife? What he found is that nearly all of his interviewees live their lives without much fear of the Grim Reaper or worries about the hereafter. This led him to wonder how and why it is that certain societies are non-religious in a world that seems to be marked by increasing religiosity. Drawing on prominent sociological theories and his own extensive research, Zuckerman ventures some interesting answers.
This fascinating approach directly counters the claims of outspoken, conservative American Christians who argue that a society without God would be hell on earth. It is crucial, Zuckerman believes, for Americans to know that "society without God is not only possible, but it can be quite civil and pleasant."

- Most Americans are convinced that faith in God is the foundation of civil society. Society Without God reveals this to be nothing more than a well-subscribed, and strangely American, delusion. Even atheists living in the United States will be astonished to discover how unencumbered by religion most Danes and Swedes currently are. This glimpse of an alternate, secular reality is at once humbling and profoundly inspiring- and it comes not a moment too soon. Zuckerman's research is truly indispensable.

The Landing Strip Waxing
I have of you is your face Who never was everything to me.
Your smile is Sharing,
equal emphasis in your voice too.
I have of you is your face
which you give to all eyes,
And these words which I am sure that he did not
only half my hand.
But I do not know whose face
The most troubling expressions Despite
you I have yet
elusive drop.
